1 lb Rockfish (Ocean Perch) fillets
1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
1 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp smoked paprika or paprika (optional)
1 lemon, sliced (optional)
Fresh herbs like parsley or dill (optional)
Baking sheet or oven-safe dish
Parchment paper or foil
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lightly brush with olive oil or melted butter.
Pat the Rockfish fillets dry and rub with oil/butter. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and optional smoked paprika.
Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
