Coldwater Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

Light, refreshing coldwater shrimp lettuce wraps with avocado, orange, and a touch of chili heat.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) pack Larry’s Catch Coldwater Shrimp, thawed and patted dry
  • 8–10 butter lettuce leaves (Boston or Bibb)
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1 small orange, segmented and roughly chopped
  • 1 small red chilli, finely sliced (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp finely diced red onion
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Gently pat the coldwater shrimp dry and place in a mixing bowl. Because they are pre-cooked, do not cook again — simply warm slightly at room temperature if needed.
  • Add avocado, orange, red chilli, red onion, lime juice, olive oil, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to combine without breaking the shrimp.
  • Spoon the shrimp mixture into crisp lettuce leaves just before serving. Arrange on a platter and serve immediately.
