Vega Creaser's Riverport Chowder

Riverport Chowder is a hodge podge of haddock, scallops shrimp in milk and cream and butter.

Ingredients

  1. Larrys Haddock fillet
  2. Larrys Scollops
  3. Larry's Chowder mix
  4. Large Onion chopped
  5. Small potatoes or cut into pieces
  6. Peas
  7. Butter and 2 cloves of crushed garlic
  8. Milk & Cream [or 1/2 & 1/2)
  9. Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, saute the haddock, scollops and chowder mix in butter
  2. Transfer into deep pot preferably cast iron with lid.
  3. Then saute a large chopped onion and crushed garlic in more butter and add it to the deep pot.
  4. Boil cut up or tiny potatoes and once softened add to deep pot.
  5. Add milk and cream to mixture (lots]
  6. Add Peas.
  7. Salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Put deep pot on simmer and do not boil! The longer it simmers, the better it is.
