A Note From Larry's Son
My dad, Larry, is a fifth-generation fisherman from Nova Scotia. Growing up, seafood was a huge part of our lives and so was the sense of community that came with it. In the early 2000s, my dad was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), a disease that eventually forced him into early retirement from the career and lifestyle he loved deeply.
When we started this company, naming it after my dad felt natural. Larry’s Catch was built to honour him, the East Coast fishing heritage I grew up around, and the values he passed down to me.
MS Canada is an organization that means a great deal to our family. Their work helps support Canadians living with MS through community programs, advocacy, and critical research focused on better treatments and, one day, a cure.
