As the son of a fisherman on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, I was always surrounded by the best quality seafood.
When I moved to Ontario in 2016, I quickly began to miss that incredible food I grew up on. It was nowhere to be found. I would beg my father, Larry, a lifelong fisherman, to send me the freshest catch from home.
What started as personal orders from Larry soon turned into larger shipments for friends, families, and even strangers from fishermen around the province. Today we've served thousands of households across Canada.
From one box to a route across Canada

Glen founds The On-line Fish Guys, hand delivering seafood locally on the South Shore of Nova Scotia.
Glen moves to Ontario to study at Queen's University. Missing seafood from back home, his father Larry ships boxes to his student house in Kingston.
Fed up with the lack of good seafood and leaning on his experience with The Online Fish Guys, Glen quits his job and starts Larry's Catch with two friends serving the Toronto area.
Larry's Catch has expanded to deliver coast to coast, from Vancouver to Halifax. Sourcing products from 22+ independent Canadian fishers.

The unfortunate truth is, Canada has become a market where low-quality seafood is easily sold, taking advantage of consumers who have become accustomed to it.
At Larry's Catch, we aim to change that by sourcing with intention. We don't just source any fish from anywhere. We seek the highest quality products in the country, so our customers never have to settle for less.

We believe high-quality, pure seafood should be accessible to everyone. Our team is three young entrepreneurs from the coasts of Nova Scotia, British Columbia, and the rural heart of Ontario.

The reason we give
Multiple sclerosis ended Larry's fishing career. He had spent his working life on the water, and MS took the boat out from under him.
