Simple Broiled Haddock

A quick and easy broiled haddock recipe with simple seasoning and bright lemon flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds haddock fillets
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • 1 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven broiler and lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Arrange haddock fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Sprinkle seasoning mixture evenly over the fish.
  5. Top fillets with small pieces of butter.
  6. Broil for 6–8 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
