Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) cooked crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2–3 tbsp olive oil
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Gently mix, keeping crab lumps intact.
- Form the mixture into 8 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook crab cakes for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges and your choice of sauce or side salad.
