  • 10–12 oz baby potatoes, halved
  • 5–6 oz cold smoked wild sockeye salmon, torn into pieces
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp chives or green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (or to taste)
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • Optional: capers

Instructions

  1. Boil baby potatoes in salted water for 12–15 minutes until fork tender, then drain and let cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the warm potatoes to the dressing and toss gently to coat.
  4. Fold in chopped dill, chives, and optional capers.
  5. Gently add pieces of cold smoked sockeye salmon and mix lightly.
  6. Taste, adjust seasoning if needed, and serve slightly warm or chilled.
