Where is your seafood sourced from?

Our seafood is exclusively sourced from Nova Scotian businesses. We partner directly with local fishermen and suppliers who employ responsible and sustainable fishing practices, ensuring not only the freshness but also the ecological integrity of our seafood.

What is IQF?

IQF stands for "Individual Quick Freezing." It's a method used to freeze individual pieces of fish (and other foods like fruits, vegetables, and meats) separately from each other. This process involves quickly freezing each piece at a very low temperature to prevent the formation of large ice crystals, which can damage the cell structure of the food and affect its quality and texture.

When do you deliver?

Deliveries take place every Sunday and Wednesday. You must order 24 hours before your desired delivery date (i.e. order on or before Friday to get Sunday delivery).

Where do you deliver?`

We deliver to most places in the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Oakville, Vaughn, Aurora, North York, & King City. If you're unsure, get in touch with our team and we'll let you know if deliver to your area.

How should I store and prepare my seafood once it arrives?

Your seafood will arrive in eco-friendly packaging designed to keep it cool for over an hour. Upon arrival, you should store your seafood in the freezer immediately. For preparation, thaw your seafood in the refrigerator overnight and cook it according to your favorite recipe or one our recommendations on our blog.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes we do! Our default option is one-time purchase, however, you can choose a monthly subscription from the products page.
