Ingredients & Materials

Buy Rockfish (Ocean Perch) Now
  • 1 lb (450 g) ocean perch (rockfish) fillets
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Optional: paprika, garlic powder, dried herbs
  • Air fryer
  • Paper towels
  • Cooking brush or spray
  • Tongs or spatula

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat ocean perch fillets completely dry with paper towels.
  3. Brush lightly with olive oil or spray with cooking oil.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  5. Place fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  6. Cook for 6–8 minutes depending on thickness.
  7. Check that the fish flakes easily and appears opaque.
  8. Remove from the air fryer and finish with fresh lemon before serving.
