Ingredients

  • 1–2 Saku of Bluefin Tuna Saku
  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • Mango Salsa: 1 cup diced fresh mango, 1/4 cup diced red onion, 1/4 cup diced bell peppers, 1 tbsp lime juice, 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • Grilled Vegetables: zucchini, asparagus, or bell peppers
  • Coconut Rice: 1 cup cooked rice mixed with 2 tbsp coconut milk
  • Grill or grill pan
  • Spatula or tongs

Instructions

  1. Brush Bluefin Tuna Saku steaks with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill tuna steaks for 2–3 minutes per side for a slightly pink centre, adjusting time for thickness.
  4. Remove from grill and let rest briefly.
  5. Serve with mango salsa, grilled vegetables, and coconut rice.
