Ingredients

  • 1 lb Wild Albacore Tuna, diced into small cubes
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 8–12 large butter lettuce leaves
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Optional: shredded carrots, microgreens, sriracha or chili sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and grated ginger to make the dressing.
  2. Add the diced tuna and toss gently to coat evenly.
  3. Prepare the lettuce leaves on a serving platter.
  4. Top each lettuce leaf with a portion of the tuna mixture, diced avocado, cucumber, and green onions.
  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and optional toppings as desired.
  6. Serve immediately as fresh, hand-held lettuce wraps.
